Woodbrooke Medical Practice

One of our largest GP partners, we welcome their endorsement of our mental health services. The surgery operates a range of chronic disease, health screening and health promotion clinics. These clinics are run by both practice and South Eastern Trust staff as well as other, specialist providers. They are designed to educate and support patients in managing their conditions and screen for common health problems.

A core funder to the project for 13 years, the SEHSCT mental health and well being hub allows local GPs to direct patients to the counselling services we provide, ensuring appropriate interventions at appropriate times.

The BHSCT mental health and well being hub allows local GPs to refer patients to a triaging panel who may then be referred to our services, or to those of our partners across the city.

Parents using approved Home Childcarers are able to receive support with the costs through the childcare element of the Working Tax Credit. It is a voluntary approval scheme for Childcarers not already registered and inspected by Health & Social Services.  NICMA can help you source an appropriate carer for your child.

Simon Community

Fighting homelessness, you can contact the team on 0800171222.  The Simon Community Harm Reduction Team has been in existence since September 2011. There is a team of eight workers based across all Simon Community NI projects.  This service is available to clients living in Simon Community NI projects, ex clients in need of support and individuals who come through the Central Access Point (CAP) to enable them to sustain tenancies and manage their lifestyle choices.
